Haldon Forest holds a beautiful secret: Lawrence Castle, created in 1788 for George III to visit, make merry and play cards with the last Emperor and Empress of France. This bijou castle is the ultimate intimate wedding venue, seating up to 56 guests and offering a wonderfully private, bespoke feel. Couples and their guests can enjoy a marble entrance hall, the longest uninterrupted spiral staircase in the UK, a delightful Georgian ballroom and a dedicated Bridal apartment that is yours from Friday to Monday.
